This is an exciting time to join Sensing Guidance and Navigation Center of Excellence engineering team as we develop new inertial navigation products used on many versatile platforms varying from planes, trains, automobiles through satellites and launch vehicles.
Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. The specifics of this role are focused on ensuring the hardware design, analysis, and test of inertial sensors navigation products over a wide range of operational environments for Defense Surface and Missile customers, while beating the project cost, schedule, and technical goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Documents, Hardware Requirements Specifications, PBA Design Specifications, Software Test Plans and Procedures, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedures, and Certification documents.
· Execute project subtasks (architecture, requirement definition, lead Hardware/Software development, lead design reviews, system integration and develop test validation and verification, etc.) by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development.
· Monitoring and helping project team members to meet project commitments.
· Developing estimates for system development including, technical baseline definition, Risk and Opportunity, conditions, and assumptions of estimates in support of proposals.
· Guide engineers, technicians, and associates to ensure project and product requirements compliance.
· Consult with suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
· Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages via presentations and in writing to a variety of audiences including leadership and external customers.
· Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements.
· Travel within U.S. and/or Internationally: 10%
