Position Description:
Focused on providing customer solutions in a fast-paced environment, this position performs the functional and system level test verification function of Honeywell’s customized integrated voice solutions and mobility software. The candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of detailed tests. The candidate may also be required to define and/or develop test software and scripts to automate these tests. The position requires the candidate to interface cross-functionally with other departments. The position requires effective communication skills (especially written) and good problem solving skills. The position requires the candidate to be results oriented with the resolve for a high degree of quality. Some travel may be required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, develop & execute tests to ensure product verification & specification compliance.
- Perform functional, integration, and system level testing to simulate customer use of Honeywell integrated voice solution and mobility software solutions.
- Write and maintain test automation scripts.
- Review specification documents, change requests or statements of work to prepare test documentation and work effort estimates.
- Participate in documentation & requirement reviews for completeness & accuracy.
- Timely completion of verification efforts within defined schedule.
- Generate defect reports when test specification is not achieved.
- Provide engineering support to internal and external customers.
- Effectively communicate issues cross-functionally and with project management.
- Participate in the improvement of EVT processes.
- Coordinate test lab activities, equipment, and tools.
