DUTIES SUMMARY :
This position provides a full-range of audio-visual and media services for the department, including the planning, developing, and production of video, graphics, and other types of audio-visual presentations for court trials, training, community relations, and other purposes; operates and maintains equipment; and advises on the effective and proper use of audio-visual equipment.This position applies a comprehensive knowledge of various audio-visual production techniques, software, recovery techniques, and equipment; ability to process assignments under time constraints and deadlines; prioritize and organize work; follow verbal and written instructions; and uses skills in competent use of personal computers and audio-visual production applications, developing audio-visual presentations, and time management.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Training and Experience :
A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in speech communications, educational communications or a related field and two years of experience in audio-visual production and utilization.LICENSE REQUIREMENT :
Possession of an appropriate valid Hawaii State driver’s license (Type 3).At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under Federal law for unrestricted employment.The City and County of Honolulu is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
