Role Snapshot: We are looking for a Building Project Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with customers to assist in selecting, estimating, and ordering lumber, doors, windows, and other building materials for their projects. This includes reading blueprints to determine material requirements. We provide training to help you develop the skills and product knowledge needed to succeed. Additional responsibilities may include cashier duties and assisting customers in the hardware store as needed. This is a daytime position, so you'll be home every night. Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation. If relocating, must do so prior to start date.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Preferred Skills:
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Strong math skills
Background in hardware, plumbing, and electrical
General carpentry knowledge
Work Location: 4847 Main St, Onekama MI 49675
Wage Information: $16-$18 or more depending on experience. Wages will be based on qualifications and experience. Position paid on a weekly basis.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, ranging between 40-50 hours per week. Expected work schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-5pm. Some Saturdays 8-noon. No Sundays. Day of during the week if desired
