What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery - Plastic Physician position at Honor Medical Staffing?
We are seeking a Locums Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to work in a dynamic environment approximately 60 minutes from Raleigh, NC.
This is a challenging position that involves plastics, hand, and face surgery.
Position Details
- Coverage Needed:
- 7a-7a, Friday through Monday
- Ongoing Need:
- Start as soon as credentialed (two weekends a month)
- Surgical Setting:
- Inpatient Only
- Support Team:
- Strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc)
Procedures
- Complex Facial Trauma Reconstruction:
- Soft tissue and skeletal reconstruction (full face, upper, mid-face, and mandible)
- Cranial defect coverage for both adults and pediatric patients
- Upper Extremity Trauma Reconstruction:
- Soft tissue reconstruction (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow) and skeletal reconstruction
- Burn treatment and reconstruction for both adults and pediatric patients
- Lower Extremity Soft Tissue Reconstruction:
- Adult and pediatric cases
- General Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery:
- Breast and body surgery
- Complex Upper Extremity Trauma Reconstruction and Skeletal:
- Distal radius, wrist, and hand reconstruction for both adults and pediatric patients
