We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with demonstrated experience managing Heavy Civil Projects in the DOTD Market. As a successful candidate, you are a skilled at running your jobs according to schedule and on budget while maintaining a safe and productive environment.
- Oversee all construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers, providing clear direction and support to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and schedule, making adjustments as necessary to deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control and safety standards, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate progress and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and material deliveries.
- Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained before work begins.
- Train and mentor team members on construction best practices and safety protocols.

Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs.
