Title: Active Directory Engineer- (Onsite- Only w2) Duration: 6 months Location: Wilmington, DE
Skills Required: Microsoft Entra ID - SSO Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID - Conditional Access
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a technical engineering position involving operational upkeep, optimization, and feature expansion of a highly complex enterprise deployment of Active Directory and/OR Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
Technical Knowledge:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or work-related experience.
4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and/or managing Directory Services environments in enterprise-level organizations.
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell\Python, for automating Active Directory tasks and processes. Ansible a plus.
Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including SSO, LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Experience with directory services integration, including LDAP, Azure AD, and third-party identity providers.
Solid grasp of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of issues, vendor relationship and license management, business continuity planning, capacity planning, audit /compliance, disaster recovery and platform maintenance.
Relevant Technology or Security certification (MCSE, MCIAAM, MCSA, ADDS Applied Skills, CISSP, CompTIA Security , etc) preferred.
