Position Description
Client is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer with proven technical experience in Terraform to join its Healthcare Practice. The candidate should demonstrate expertise and experience with implementing DevOps/DevSecOps platform, and processes and tools supporting Agile application development teams that lead to continuous integration, test, and deployment methods
Your future duties and responsibilities
- The DevOps Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for hands-on tasks, DevOps activities, and the automation and configuration management of environments. Key responsibilities include:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop, maintain, and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for delivering features, fixes, and system updates across development, integration, and production environments.
- AWS Infrastructure Management: Manage AWS infrastructure, including automated configuration management, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Security and Testing: Implement security scans, test automation, and ensure continuous delivery and production deployments.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Perform cloud infrastructure management tasks and collaborate closely with Security and other technical teams.
- Tool Integration and Maintenance: Set up, integrate, document, and maintain a scalable, stable set of CI/CD tools and processes to support development, testing, and security scanning using Systems operations, DevSecOps tools, and Open-Source technologies.
- Technology Advancement: Stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices to develop efficient solutions that meet business objectives in a collaborative and creative agile environment.
- Technical Recommendations: Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations on technology improvements and development best practices.
- Team Leadership: Assign tasks and review work products of developers to implement technology strategies and establish reusable systems, infrastructures, frameworks, and tools for AWS Cloud.
- Troubleshooting and Documentation: Troubleshoot across multiple applications and create run books and playbooks for each event, establishing necessary escalation paths.
- Design and Thought Leadership: Provide insights and design patterns to help build the CI/CD pipeline in a complex AWS environment.
