Job Title : Computational Scientist - Cancer Immunogenomics
Job Location : South San Francisco, CA
Job Duration : 12 Months Contract
The Oncology Bioinformatics team in gRED Computational Sciences (gCS) is seeking a
talented and highly motivated Computational Scientist (Contract) with a strong
background in computational biology and / or cancer immunology. He / She will support
personalized cancer immunotherapy research. The successful candidate will have a
proven track record in bioinformatics, data science and / or data engineering, preferably
in MHC genomics, target and neoantigen discovery and selection.
Position Details :
This will be a full-time contract position for an initial period of 1 year, with the possibility
of extension. This position is onsite or hybrid in the Pacific time zone.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain bioinformatics and data infrastructure for research projects related to individualized cancer immunotherapy
- Collaborate with computational biologists, AI scientists and engineers
- Maintain excellent documentation, and data analysis practices to ensure reproducible data science
- Present findings to the Cancer Immunogenomics group and collaborators.
