Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Power BI Developer. As a self-starter, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. Key Responsibilities :
1. Data Analysis and Visualization :
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and objectives.
Develop and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to present actionable insights.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Power BI Development :
Create and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Develop DAX formulas and calculations to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Implement best practices for data visualization to ensure effective communication of information.
3. Data Integration and Transformation :
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
Work with SQL Server, Excel, and other data sources to integrate data seamlessly into Power BI solutions.
4. Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business processes.
Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
5. Self-Starter Mentality :
Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on Power BI features and industry trends.
Take initiative in problem-solving and propose innovative solutions to enhance BI capabilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) language.
Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
Understanding of database concepts and SQL querying.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
