• Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical (MS)
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour Night Shifts

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical (MS) team in Aiken, SC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inpatient nursing, telemetry, and stroke or orthopedic care, and will be able to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established medical protocols and hospital policies.

This role requires a commitment to providing compassionate, competent, and efficient patient care, ensuring adherence to regulatory and institutional guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, including a comprehensive review of systems, and documenting findings accurately.
2. Monitoring patient progress and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
3. Utilizing Cerner EMR for documentation and patient record management.
4. Providing education to patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
5. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to hospital policies and infection control standards.

Requirements include:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state/district (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience (Required).
• At least 6 months of travel nurse experience (Required).
• Telemetry experience (Required).
• Stroke or Orthopedic care experience (Required).
• Crisis Prevention Institute's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) with Advanced Physical Skills Training (Required).
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required).
