We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Medical Rehabilitation Unit to join our team as a travel nurse for a rewarding assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to work on various cases, including general, ortho, neuro (crani), ENT, urology, DaVinci robot, spine, trauma, GYN, podiatry, and endo/laparoscopic procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include preparing the operating room by ensuring it is sterile, organized, and stocked with necessary instruments and supplies, monitoring patient condition before, during, and after surgery, including vital signs and anesthesia levels, positioning patients on the operating table to ensure comfort and accessibility during surgery, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure smooth operation flow, documenting surgical procedures, patient responses, and any complications during surgery, providing post-operative care by assisting with recovery, monitoring vital signs, and addressing patient concerns, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process, including managing potential risks and complications.
