Task 3 - Public Works Engineering Project Management Staff Augmentation
Consultant reports under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Public
Works / City Engineer and / or Principal Civil Engineer to manage civil engineering projects.
Work shall include, but not be limited to :
- Managing major CIP projects, which includes contract administration; project schedule coordination; management of consultants and staff; coordination of consultant work, utilities, staff, other public agencies.
- Managing construction inspection firms for public construction projects and preparing construction project progress payments.
- Writing City Council staff reports and preparing construction contract agreements and amendments. Consultant may make oral presentations before the City Council and various commissions and committees.
