Job Title: Warehouse Associate
located: 600 Scranton Carbondale Hwy, Archbald, PA 18403
Duration:10 months
Shift:8am-4pm M-F
Purpose of Position:
The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of functions that may include operating forklifts, receiving, and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, wrapping product and/or building pallets, performing cycle counts, or any additional project assigned by Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator:
- Unload shipments from suppliers, verifying order accuracy.
- Load trailers with product for delivery to construction sites.
- Manage stock and inventory control.
- Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment indoors and outdoors.
- Operate RF Scanners.
- Perform all warehouse operations: Pick, Pack, Ship, Receiving, Put away, and Housekeeping
Qualifications
- Understanding of logistics software in SAP
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Forklift certified
- Ability to work 40 hours
- Ability to lift 70lbs
- Strong computational skills
- Inventory Control Experience
- Ability to be productive without oversight
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Robust written and communication skill set
- Able to multitask and manage work priorities daily
- Process oriented, able to establish/design, implement and measure processes effectively
- Self-starter, works independently, results oriented, rigorous
- MS Office Experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
Education & Experience Required:
High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Warehouse / Logistics environment; Will accept degree in logistics or supply chain in lieu of experience.
