This job was posted by : For more information, please see : PLEASE NOTE : Work for this Requisition is expected to begin in March / April 2025.Compensation Minimum : \$101,000Compensation Maximum : \$130,000Job Requirements : Background RequirementsDue to this being a contract position working for the US government all candidates must be a U.S. citizen and pass a criminal and financial background check as well as a drug test.Required Minimum Qualifications : 3 years experience with environmental cleanup and CTC estimates or 3 years of experience with either federal financial management or DoD audit readiness.Environmental & Disposal Liabilities experience strongly preferred.A. or B.S. in Environmental OR Business / Financial / Accounting fields. Experience may be substituted for education.Professional services experience and / or experience supporting public sector clients in a client-facing role.{=html} - Strong attention to detail; strong data / time management and organizational skills; strong verbal / written communication skills; self-starter; and ability to build relationship with client.{=html} - Proficient in MS Office and Adobe. - Must be a US Citizen and CONUS-located.Preferred Qualifications : B.A. or B.S. in any form of Environmental Science / Related field OR Hazardous Materials Cleanup / Disposal.Operational understanding / environmental and disposal liabilities experience is preferred.Experience leading cross functional teams.Experience with DoD financial statement audit, internal control testing or analysis, and coordinating with external auditors.Knowledge of Army financial management policies, systems, and procedures.Knowledge of the Comprehensive Environmental Resource, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and other environmental policy.Specialized certification to include CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or other equivalent.Working knowledge of Environmental Database of Record.Physical Requirements : Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
