The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for an organization. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and timely through third party payroll provider
- Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports
- Reconcile labor / payroll accounts
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Process timesheets and timesheet corrections with Deltek Time & Expense
- Create Deltek user accounts with Costpoint and ADManager
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
Location :
Salary : $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
