Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their produce selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including regular cleaning of displays and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with inventory control, and restock shelves as necessary to ensure product availability.
• operate scales and point of sales systems accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene standards.
• Help with general store up keeping. Including cleaning and organizing.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down displays.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about produce and offering recomnedations.

Experience

• Excellent customer service and communications skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds
• Reliable and punctul with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a retail or food service enviornment is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining product quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Pay based on experience and qualifications.
