Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Safety: Safely supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, field trips, buses, and other areas of the school premises.
- Behavior Management: Maintain order, mediate disputes, and redirect students according to district policy and procedures.
- Supportive Tasks: Assist classroom teachers with tasks such as correcting daily work, recording grades, making copies, laminating materials, and other duties assigned.
- Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate a professional and ethical image at all times, maintaining confidentiality, courtesy, cooperation, a positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License required.
- Criminal Justice/Fingerprint Clearance required.
- Prior experience in student supervision, particularly working with diverse student populations, is preferred.
