Position
As a BIM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting virtual design, BIM, and construction efforts. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors, you'll ensure accurate digital models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes to enhance project planning and execution.
- Lead clash detection, identifying and resolving conflicts across architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align designs with project goals and timelines.
- Document design changes and updates for the construction team.
- Support project management teams by integrating virtual models into scopes, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Ensure all virtual design efforts meet industry standards and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in virtual design coordination, BIM modeling, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
