At Hood Container - Franklin, we have an excellent group of long-term CDL Drivers who make deliveries within a 100-mile radius. Driving is typically within Kentucky and Tennessee. Drivers are always home at night , and average between 40-45 working hours per week.

Required : Class A Commercial Driver License

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation and care of delivery vehicle in a safe manner in compliance with all regulatory statutes. Must be qualified to properly operate the delivery vehicle.
• Complete and document a delivery vehicle inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new delivery vehicle; turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Verify route before start of run; deliver appropriate stock to appropriate customers on time with accurate quantity; pickup return goods as instructed by supervisor.
• Complete and maintain necessary paperwork and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist other drivers as needed.

Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen to qualify for full-time employment.
