What You Will Do
- Be a Safety Champion: You'll champion a proactive safety culture by ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Lead with Innovation: Develop and implement creative EHS initiatives that go beyond compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Protect Our People and Our Planet: Maintain meticulous EHS records, conduct thorough investigations, and lead initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
- Empower Employees: Educate and train employees on safety best practices, empowering them to take ownership of their safety and the safety of their colleagues.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular safety audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- A Passion for Safety: A proven track record in safety management, ideally within the corrugated industry.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- A Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A Commitment to Excellence: A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30-hour training and other relevant certifications.
