What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Hood Distribution?
Responsibilities & Duties
- Proficiently pulling customer orders for next day delivery and customer pick-up.
- Effectively unloading inbound freight by either hand or forklift, verifying the dropped-off material, and entering items into system
- Restocking and verifying inventory in proper bin locations
- Maintaining a healthy warehouse environment
Qualifications:
- Proven warehouse experience (minimum 1 year)
- Prior experience and ability to operate a forklift (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) device and computer tools
- Must be able to lift 50-100lbs
- Excellent Customer Service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Great interpersonal skills – a team player
- Forklift Certification
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to adapt to change
