Hood Distribution, established in 1899, is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty products. We currently have twenty-four locations, providing distribution into the eastern US as well as the Caribbean markets. Our primary customers turn our products into something special. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate/ Cabinet Assembler to join our growing team at our Cabinet Shop location, Carnegie, PA.

Job Responsibilities
- Work with minimal supervision
- Load and unload trailers with forklift
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- This role entails 60% of the candidate's time to be spent in the warehouse
- 40% of the candidate's time will be spent building, and assembling Cabinets
- Must have good math skills and read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Forklift experience
- 1 year of warehouse operations experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of warehouse distribution experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of cabinet assembly or similar woodworking work (Preferred)
- Knowledge of lumber and/or plywood is preferred
- Great interpersonal skills - a team player
- Forklift Certification
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to adapt to change
