Hood Distribution, established in 1899, is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty products. We currently have twenty-four locations, providing distribution into the eastern US as well as the Caribbean markets. Our primary customers turn our products into something special. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in the Columbus, OH location.

Job Responsibilities
- Proficiently pulling customer orders for next day delivery and customer pick-up.
- Effectively unloading inbound freight by either hand or forklift, verifying the dropped-off material, and entering items into the system.
- Restocking and verifying inventory in proper bin locations.
- Maintaining a healthy warehouse environment.
- Proven warehouse experience (minimum 1 year)
- Prior experience and ability to operate a forklift (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) device and computer tools
- Must be able to lift 50-100lbs
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Great interpersonal skills - a team player
- Forklift Certification
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to adapt to change
