Key Responsibilities
- Set up machines and monitor set ups to make sure the processes are being followed correctly.
- Read work orders to determine the machine setup procedures and profile type.
- Select and install tooling and cutting heads.
- Run wood stock through the molder and inspect for proper profile specifications.
- Complete production records and indicate the quantity, footage, produced, profiles, species, and customer identification.
- Monitor the operation of machines during runs and adjust to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Examine raw material for defects and ensure conformity to size and other specification standards.
- Must have the knowledge & ability to operate, calibrate and maintain a molder machine.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience operating a molder machine.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery effectively.
