As a Production Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our layup and press manufacturing area. You will be responsible for providing work directions to the Layup and Press team, coordinating the operation of the team to ensure optimal production quality and efficiency, and communicating regularly with team and management to ensure timely 2-way communication concerning layup and/or press issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant manufacturing processes and be able to effectively lead a team to achieve production goals. Responsibilities
• Provide work directions to the Layup and Press team.
• Coordinate the operation of the Layup and Press team to ensure optimal production quality and efficiency.
• Communicate regularly with team and management to ensure timely 2-way communication concerning layup and/or press issues.
• Monitor the operation of the layup and press equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred; Associate or technical degree a plus; experience will be considered in place of education.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of plant/manufacturing processes.
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
