Job Summary:
Manage all facets of the Canadian Market to attain sales volume goals and financial control targets as assigned within areas of responsibility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Develop, train, and lead an effective Broker team to execute in Market
- Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and bringing on new business.
- Direct and maintain all sales forecasting activities as well as set performance goals accordingly for broker
- Manage customer financial management; to include promotions and marketing programs for all customers within geography. Manage trade fund program system and budgets with broker
- Manage all administrative efforts related to Canadian business
- Lead Data Analytics and Insight efforts for Canadian market for use in Customer engagements
- Conduct in-person business reviews, line reviews, strategy sessions, etc in market with Customers and with Broker
- Conduct in-market retail visits and store walks with Customers and Broker
- Set broker objectives based on company and Market specific goals and with measurable KPI’s.
- Weekly meetings with Broker team to discuss business, key action items and ongoing business needs.
- Maintain a broker scorecard to be reviewed with broker monthly to include measurable KPI’s.
- Communicate competitive market pricing, including price advances or declines for customers. Be aware of and react to competitive products and activities.
- Conduct all duties related to broker management.
- Maintain close communication with various Hood LLC departments to effectively lead business.
- Attend various trade-related functions that enhance account relationships and HP HOOD position in market.
- Serve as primary sales point of contact for HP Hood on Saputo/Heluvagood Dip Business
- Travel=35%
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 6-8 years’ relevant experience
- Experience within CPG refrigerated food/beverage sales field
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional interpersonal
- Exceptional at building morale and gaining group commitments to goals and
- Excellent at working independently while also developing subordinates skills and encourages growth
