Schedule: 11:30 pm - 8:00 am Monday through Friday (Saturday and Sunday)
For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $26.32 per hour; plus, a $.50 shift differential for working overnights.
The job responsibilities for this position are as follows:
This job includes the proficient operation of the production filling equipment. It will include the cottage cheese filler, 32oz Yogurt filler, and the 5.3 filling lines. Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs. They must ensure all daily orders are filled using the correct cups, lids, and codes. Ensure that the packaging and products meet our quality standards at all times and report issues immediately. Follow the sampling matrix. Maintain proper weights and operating speeds at all times and keep changeover down time to a minimum. Perform the required code and seal inspections. Ensure the metal detector and/or x-ray machines are performing adequately and notify the Supervisor or QA department if product is rejected per SOP. Work with CC Blender, Fruit Operators, and Stock personnel to ensure an efficient operation. Perform the CIP/Cleanup of the fillers when necessary. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Supervisor or Foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
