Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Technician to join our team. The Assistant Technician will support the Lead Technician in completing service jobs efficiently and accurately. This role is critical to maintaining our company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Technician with setup, operation, and cleanup for all assigned jobs.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and ensure they are properly maintained and stored after use.
- Conduct basic inspections and troubleshooting of equipment under the guidance of the Lead Technician.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and assist in completing job-related documentation.
- Load and unload materials and supplies for each job site as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient job execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Technician or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn technical procedures quickly.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in the industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to job sites or the company office.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
