Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC or small engine repair. The focus of this position is to ensure the smooth operation of the shop by assisting in various tasks.
This is a flexible 20-40 hour per week position, training will be provided.
Job duties will include:
- preventative maintenance inspection (PMI)
- weekly vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks
- on-site installations and equipment repairs
- Stocking, job supplies, inventory
- shop organization and clean up: sweep and mop, take out trash
- distribute keys for jobs
- maintain supplies needed on trucks
- heavy lifting required
- assistance with driving vehicles to and from repair
Qualifications:
- Preferred background in HVAC, small enjine repair, auto repair and/or vehicle maintenance
- Must be self motivated and efficient
- Must have strong organizational skills
