Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong lawn maintenance background , with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems at properties. This role requires a proactive approach to property lawn maintenance, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the fullest and that all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely. The lawn maintenance person will also engage in customer service interactions, addressing any maintenance-related inquiries or concerns to direct supervisor.
Duties
- Typical job functions/duties would include mowing, weed eating, stick edging, blowing, trimming of trees and shrubs, and overall maintenance of a property
- Responsible for the cleanliness and condition of equipment assigned
- Checking oil, air filters, keeping blades sharp, air pressure in tires, etc.
- Ensure that all jobs are performed efficiently and safely
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Effective communication with managers
Experience
- Valid driver's license with good driving record (not required but highly encouraged)
- Have experience working with landscaping companies or lawn care service providers
- Have practical experience in operating lawn equipment
- Have experience working in a nursery, or in grounds keeping, maintenance, or gardening
- Experience is recommend but not necessary to apply for the job

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
