About Us :

Hook-N-Haul is a family-owned Service, Towing, and Trucking company started in 2008. We have two locations, Litchfield, OH, and one in Evans City PA. For our Ohio office. We are looking to hire a Diesel Mechanic as soon as possible!

We work hard, but we are family-oriented, treat you like a person and not a number, and believe in having fun while doing it. If you thrive at a fast pace and are an experienced Diesel Mechanic we would like to talk to you about becoming the next member of our team.

Diesel Mechanic Requirements :

Minimum of 1 year heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience (Class 8)
ASE Diesel Certification and Class A CDL a plus
Must have your own tools
Experience with Heavy Duty Tire repair / replacement
Roadservice experience a plus

Have a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others

Diesel Mechanics must have bai-communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Diesel Tech must be willing to work rotating weekends (on call)

Diesel Mechanic / Technician Responsibilities :

Perform minor and major heavy-duty repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers

Conduct regular preventative maintenance

Perform roadside repairs

Diesel Technicians will properly document maintenance and repairs

Perform diagnostic tests

Maintain a safe and clean work area

HVAC, wiring, and computer diagnostics

Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures

Diesel Mechanic may perform other duties as required

Diesel Mechanic / Technician Benefits :

Competitive wages based on your experience $19-28 / hr

Work hours : All shifts available

Benefits : PTO, Vacation, IRA, Paid Uniforms, Paid TIA, Meritor, and TIMS training

Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, and drug testing)
