Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws regarding alcohol consumption.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
- Uphold food handling standards to maintain health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with retail math for managing transactions accurately.
- Experience working in a restaurant or nightclub setting is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
