Hooker Furnishings , in its 100th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.

The Position :
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attitude and dedication to teamwork to join our team as a Material Handler / Leather and Fabric Marker in our Cherryville, NC location.
This individual will :
Lay out leather and fabric on marking table.
Use chalk to mark leather and fabric accordingly for cutting.
Read and understand diagrams indicating marking patterns.
Use basic hand tools to complete marking process.
Candidates that will be a great fit will :
Have previous manufacturing experience (not required)
Be able to stand and move around 8-9 hours a day and work independently.
Be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. This is a very physical job.
Have strong attention to detail.
