Sunset West, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation (NASDAQ: HOFT), is currently recruiting for a Cushion Stuffer to work in our Vista, CA location. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 100th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture, and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our Production team as a cushion stuff associate. This candidate will maintain our cushion area and work independently to complete the following duties:
- Sort cushions by size and schedule.
- Determine type of filler for each cushion.
- Use order picker forklift to pull cushions and other materials needed.
- Stuff and bag cushions both by hand and using vacuum.
- Stuff cushions in a timely manner while still meeting quality expectations.
- Locate missing cushions for order completion.
- Box and pack product for shipment.
- Receive and put away materials by hand and using PIT equipment.
Candidates that will be a great fit will:
- Enjoy fast paced and independent work.
- Be able to work standing up for entire shift and move quickly from one department to another.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. During high season schedule some Saturday work is required.
Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00 per hour with potential to earn production bonus.
