Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 101st year of business, is a designer, marketer, and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture, and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality, and contract markets.

The Position:
We are looking for a dependable individual with great attention to detail to join our upholstery team. This individual will:
- Turn and move furniture on platforms to place fabric and leather properly.
- Use hammering motion to apply the material to furniture frames.
- Use metrics and read diagrams to apply material correctly.
- Use staple guns and other hand tools such as a pneumatic screwdriver, mallet, scissors, utility knife, and a hot melt glue gun.
Candidates that will be a great fit will:
- Have upholstery experience
- Have previous experience using hand tools or with some type of carpentry/building.
- Be okay with standing 8-9 hours a day and working independently
- Have the ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have strong attention to detail and desire not just to produce quantity, but high-quality work

Shift: Monday to Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
Pay: $18/hr - $22/hr
Salary : $18 - $22
