Description : General Summary :
Responsible for managing the purchasing and logistics of tools used by the Electric Power Division. Will work with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure all jobs have the necessary tools. Responsible for tracking the location of existing tools and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure new tools are being obtained in a cost-effective manner.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Develop and maintain a system for purchasing and tracking tools.
- Maintains proper inventory of tools and supplies for in-house stock.
- Coordinates transportation of tools to and from job sites.
- Ensures tool inventory documents and computerized records are accurate and complete.
- Responsible for keeping track of tool needs on job sites in consultation with Project Managers and field leadership.
- Performs additional assignments as requested by management. May serve on company committees as required.
