Overview:
In this role, you will assume responsibility for leading the design and coordination of HVAC systems on assigned projects. The primary focus involves planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the execution of Design/Build projects, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, equipment utilization, and safety objectives.
Accountabilities:
Principal responsibilities include:
- Designing comprehensive HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and controls, adhering to local, state, and national codes.
- Pursuing new business opportunities by cultivating strong client relationships and delivering presentations to potential clients.
- Developing project estimates, budgets, and schedules, contributing to contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent 4-year degree.
- Professional engineering license or HVAC designer certification in the State of Wisconsin preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in designing HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of commissioning process for total building; certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, NAVIS works, REVIT, or other relevant software.
