General Summary :
A "Continuous Improvement Specialist" will oversee the examination and evaluation of the organization's processes and operational procedures to ensure they are both, compliant and efficient. This is a professional who ensures that processes within an organization meet established standards. They conduct systematic inspections, measurements, and audits of processes and data to monitor and improve quality. This may involve collaborating with various departments to implement standardized procedures and coordinating with financial teams. They also develop audit checklists utilizing contracts, government requirements, and internal procedures. They facilitate the optimization of procedures, identify, and eliminate inefficiency, and ensure adherence to industry-standards and legal regulations.
Principle Accountabilities :
- Performing routine internal audits on operational processes.
- Identifying and assessing areas of significant business risk.
- Identifying areas of process inefficiency and proposing innovative solutions.
- Championing process improvement projects and managing implementation of the same.
- Drafting and presenting audit reports to the management.
- Controlling the full audit cycle, inclusive of risk management and compliance with all relevant regulations.
