Compensation and Benefits :
- Initial Annual Salary : $62,000 (paid in twice-monthly increments)
- Increase Opportunity to $65,000 upon successful completion of 90-day probationary period
- Semi-Annual Bonus Opportunities

Mission :
The mission of the General Manager is to successfully, cheerfully and professionally fulfill the responsibilities identified below, managing the other hotel managers and team members toward the profitable assurance of the hotel’s predetermined values and operating standards to achieve a 100% satisfaction rate with all hotel guests.
Primary Responsibilities :
Act in an honest, professional, positive, proactive, respectful, and hospitable manner, setting an example for all subordinates and staff.Direct and coordinate hotel activities to maximize the operation’s full potential and achieve optimum efficiency.Achieve / maintain all required training and certifications, and ensure that all team members are properly trained and in compliance with brand standards and requirements. Proficiency of GM duties to be achieved within 90 days of accepting the position.Directly manage all hotel staff (housekeeping, gift shop, groups sales and banquets, maintenance, restaurant, and front desk personnel) and Front Office / Desk functions including scheduling, hiring / firing, training, and enforcement of all hotel standards.Cover a shift in all departments and day parts each quarter to assess each position’s job requirements and operational efficiency and effectiveness.Cover shifts as necessary due to team member callouts, no-shows, or other approved and unapproved absences.Facilitate clear and professional communication with guests, team members, and management.Lead staff and / or managers’ meetings.Motivate team members to employ proper procedures for achieving the highest level of revenues by optimizing room rates and occupancy.Understand financial statements and budgets, to manage and guide, develop and / or implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations.Remain current on industry trends and local market activitiesEssential Qualifications :
High school graduate with minimum of 5 years of recent Hotel General management experience or College degree in hotel management and / or a business-related fieldLicensed driver.Highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for success and achievement.Exceptional customer service skills.Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.Strong computer skills for email, Word, and Excel, with strong aptitude for mastering hotel sales and rooms systems.Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.Familiarity with scheduling and tracking tools and events.Additional Desired Experience :
Hampton Inn (or other Hilton Brand) experience.Knowledge / experience of Hampton programs such as OnQ, R&I, GRO, PEP.Experience in Food and Beverage management for full-service restaurant operations, front and back-of-house.Mechanical skills and / or experience with troubleshooting hotel, restaurant and / or grounds equipment / systems.Join our team and help us achieve 100% satisfaction for all our hotel guests.
