Summary:
On behalf of our client, a leader in the home renovation industry, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee siding, roofing, and one-day bath product lines. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of salespeople to achieve and maintain a high closing rate, while driving revenue and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s sales skills and product knowledge
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales team members, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company goals
- Set and monitor KPIs for the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving issues promptly
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of sales proposals and estimates
- Market Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the siding, roofing, and one-day bath markets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations
- Conduct on-site evaluations of projects to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the siding, roofing, or home improvement industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to coach and develop sales talent to achieve high performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
