Hoosac Valley Farmers' Exchange is hiring a part-time Sales Associate!
Job Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly welcoming environment, by smiling, greeting and acknowledging every customer when they enter the store and assisting them as needed.
- Answering phones: assisting with questions and taking customer orders
- Perform day-to-day store operations such as counter help, keeping the store clean, inventory restocking, watering plants.
- Operating our point of sale (POS) computer systems for sales, returns, charges, payments, etc.
- Gain product knowledge and be able to assist customers with choosing the correct products for their needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Some computer abilities are preferred
- Have great communications skills and exceptional customer service.
- Mature, responsible and hardworking.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to frequently communicate with the customers and coworkers.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time a
- Team player
20 hour min and availability on Saturday and Sunday are a must
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
