Job Summary:

As a Mover, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient relocation of clients' belongings. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will work as part of a team to ensure that items are packed, transported, and unpacked with care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing and Loading:
• Load furniture and other item/ boxes onto the moving truck using appropriate techniques to prevent damage.
• Transportation:
• Transport items from the old location to the new location safely and efficiently.
• Navigate to various destinations using company-provided transportation.
• Unloading and Unpacking: Unload items from the truck and carry them into the new location.
• Assist with setting up items according to client instructions.
• Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and respectful attitude while interacting with clients.
• Equipment Handling:
• Operate moving equipment such as dollies, straps, and blankets.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on moving equipment.
• Documentation:
• Complete and review inventory lists, noting any discrepancies or damages.
• Collect and submit necessary paperwork and payments as required.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols to minimize the risk of injury and damage.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding moving practices.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (Minimum 50 Lbs to 200-300 Lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good stamina and endurance to handle long hours and varying weather conditions.
• Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in moving or a similar field is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of safe lifting techniques and handling practices.
• Customer Service:
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Additional Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required for some positions.
• Background checks will be administered and drug testing may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
