We are looking for an electrical technician/panel builder to join our centrifugal manufacturing team.
What You'll Do
As a member of the manufacturing team, the electrical technician is responsible for the build, support, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels and equipment
- Build, install, test, and modify electrical control panels and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and machine assemblers to improve product quality and performance
- Interpret electrical schematics and wire internal components per diagrams
- Diagnose cause of electrical or machine malfunctions
- Comply with industry and safety standards
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment for customer satisfaction
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
This role will keep you thinking and moving!
- Previous experience in electrical support or other related fields
- Ability to read and build from mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of PLC Programming and familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of relay design standards
- Excellent root cause analysis skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and dependable, with safe working habits
