Vice President of Compliance

Key Responsibilities:
- Mission and Service Alignment: Develop and manage compliance programs that align with our mission and Service Promises, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
- Compliance Program Development: Oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of our compliance management system, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Policy Management: Ensure compliance policies are in place, regularly reviewed, and updated as necessary to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Oversight: Stay up-to-date with changes in banking laws and regulatory trends, ensuring our organization remains compliant.
- Staff Training: Collaborate with our Training Department to develop and deliver compliance education to staff members, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a trusted resource for regulatory inquiries and resolve compliance-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular compliance reports to our Board of Directors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Complaint and Filing Management: Manage the Member Complaint Program and oversee HMDA and 1071 Small Business Filing processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Cross-Functional Support: Participate in strategic discussions regarding long-term planning, advising on the regulatory impacts of key decisions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in risk management or compliance, with a preference for experience in the financial industry.
- Certifications: CUCE, CRCM, or comparable certification preferred.
- Knowledge: Expertise in banking laws, regulatory processes, and compliance requirements.
- Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and investigative abilities, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professionalism: A high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Technology Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to adapt to new software applications.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues across all levels to achieve organizational goals.
