Job Summary:
We are seeking A compassionate On Call Caregiver with flexibility and adaptability to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As an On Call Caregiver, you will fill in with clients as needed, as well as helping out in office with light office duties as needed. This job does offer the benefit of an 80 hour bi weekly salary.
As an On Call Caregiver you will -
- Provide personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Support individuals with mobility issues and transfers
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements:
-Must have open availability monday through friday 8-5 and be available on weekends as needed.
- Drivers license/insurance
- Your own reliable vehicle. This cannot be a shared vehicle.
-experience in a PRN setting is a plus!
- Experience in long-term care, childcare, direct support, or related field
- Knowledge of resident rights and behavior management techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to handle challenging situations with empathy
