Title: Accountant
Reports To: Assistant Controller
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Location: Clearwater, FL
Description:
Hooters, a multi-unit hospitality company, is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, self-motivated full charge accountant to join our team. The responsibilities will include the day-to-day accounting functions including but not be limited to:
· Financial statement preparation
· Financial analysis
· Journal entries / accruals / account reconciliation
· Sales tax preparation
· Bank reconciliations
· Report writing
· Maintenance of general ledger / set-up new vendors / reporting
· Special projects as needed
Ideal Requirements:
· 1 – 3 years accounting experience
· 4 year accounting degree
· Proficiency with integrated accounting systems (experience with Great Plains and Management Reporter are a plus)
· Proficiency with Excel
· Good communication and problem solving skills
· Public accounting experience is a plus
