What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician III position at Hoover Energy Services?
Hoover Energy Services has openings for Field Technician III to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Completed Tech I, Tech II (Please see other job postings for details if needed)
- Login to PLCs , HMIs and other Devices USB, Ethernet, HART Rs485 Modem
- Modem Configuration with help
- Be able to wire pump panels w/understanding of options and reasoning why
- Be able to wire a panel w/ understanding of why it’s wired the way it is
- PLC Wiring Troubleshooting
- Full Understanding of setting up Transmitters (Temp PITs)
- Full Understanding of wiring AIs, AOs, DIs and Dos
- Setup Full E&H Line Up
- Attend E&H University
- Attend Idec Training – Basic
- Liquid Meter Setup Run Setup From Start To Finish
- Basic HMI Setup
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
- Candidate must have a clean driving record.
Experience:
3 years of experience as a Pump Technician/Pump Repair/Field Service
