What are the responsibilities and job description for the Measurement Technician II position at Hoover Energy Services?
Hoover Energy Services LLC has an opening for Measurement Technicians II to expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and South-East New Mexico.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Must have learned the requirements of Tech I or very close
- Be able to setup a meter from scratch for Gas Applications including comm Ports
- Building Displays TF/Roc
- Full Understanding of Beta Ratio’s
- Be able to calculate an Orifice Plate Size with Plate Calculator
- Full Understanding of Gas Analysis
- Full Understanding of Basic Gas Troubleshooting
- Understanding of Historical Data
- Tubing Bending Layout
- Roc Setup Measurement
- Basic Comms (Ethernet RS485)
- Radio Comms Setup Terminations
- Using Flow Calculator
- PCCU Roc Link Software
- Learn connection process to different types of flow Elements
- Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving record
Experience/Education
High School Diploma/GED
