Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service, including banquet setups as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and guest needs.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Support food preparation efforts when necessary, assisting cooks with basic tasks as directed.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen staff.
- Maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed within the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and banquet service is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary during service hours.
